Some Political Thoughts

  • Mood: Ponderous
  • Music: Radiohead: Kid A
Well, it is late here in Halifax (the posting time reflects Pacific Standard Time)  and so I must be brief.

I noticed two things watching the news today (the National with Peter Mansbridge):
1.  The likely death of a sailor at sea performing his duties in the Baltic didn't even gain headline status.
2.   Politics in Ottawa was finally exciting and was worth watching again with Jean Chretien's visit to the inquiry.

I won't say anymore about these subjects, for now, as I should be to bed.  I think my mentioning them is enough to get my point across.
